MB 45

The Aluprof MB-45 is a modern aluminium system for door and window elements without a thermal break, designed for indoor and outdoor applications where thermal insulation is not required. It is suitable for partition walls, windows, manual and automatic sliding and hinged doors, vestibules, shop windows and cashier boxes. The installation depth is 45 mm (frame) / 54 mm (sash) for windows and 45 mm / 45 mm for doors; the slim yet stable profiles produce a flush external appearance when closed. As the profiles can be bent, arched constructions are also possible. EPDM gaskets ensure lasting tightness; the system is compatible with the MB-60 and MB-70 systems and with the MB-45S insert door. It enables the fabrication of smoke control doors of classes Sa and S200 and has successfully passed hurricane tests to ASTM and the Florida Building Code.
