MB Slide

Aluprof MB-Slide and MB-Slide ST are systems for thermally insulated sliding doors and windows that can be installed in masonry, aluminium facades, conservatories or shop window constructions based on MB-59S. Large-format sliding doors in particular visually enlarge the living space by connecting it to the terrace or garden. The maximum sash dimensions are 2600 mm high × 1800 mm wide with a maximum sash weight of 160 kg; construction variants from 2 to 6 modules are available and glazing up to 26 mm is possible. Plastic thermal breaks guarantee the thermal insulation of the aluminium profiles, while brush gaskets or TPE gaskets combined with EPDM rebate and glazing gaskets ensure high tightness. The installation depth of the sash profiles is 37 mm, that of the outer frames 50 mm (2-track) or 97 mm (3-track); frames with a 50 mm depth can be joined directly with the MB-59S, MB-59S Casement, MB-59S Pivot and MB-59SE systems. MB-Slide sash profiles have a 3-chamber construction, are cut at 45° and joined with corner cleats; MB-Slide ST profiles are single-chamber and screwed together. Both systems are largely compatible with other Aluprof systems and share profiles, accessories and fabrication processes.
