Aluprof MB-SKYLINE is the flagship sliding door system with a concealed frame for panoramic views. The frame is hidden in the wall, floor and ceiling; the sashes close flush with the outer frame at the sides and the visible central mullion is only 25 mm wide — creating a seamless visual transition between the interior and the garden, terrace or veranda. Based on slim yet rigid profiles, the system enables large and heavy constructions with sash weights up to 700 kg and sash heights up to 4 m; the roller carriage design ensures effortless movement even of heavy sashes. Uw values from 0.85 W/(m²K) provide effective thermal protection; watertightness up to class 9A (600 Pa) and wind load resistance up to class C5 (2000 Pa). The slim, low threshold is elegant, easy to clean and reduces the risk of tripping; the zero-threshold option visually removes the boundary between inside and outside. The innovative compensation profile allows the top frame to be adjusted by up to 20 mm to compensate for ceiling deflections. Manual or automatic operation is possible; the drive can be mounted outside the construction or concealed in the frame profiles for a minimalist look. The three-chamber profile construction with thermal break supports triple glazing of 52–60 mm, meets the requirements of WT 2021 and is compatible with the SkyRoll and SkyFlow sun protection systems.
