Aluprof MB-82HS is a modern lift-and-slide door system that perfectly combines visual minimalism with the possibility of creating large glazed areas. The maximum sash size is 3.24 × 3.3 m with a maximum sash weight of 600 kg; the slim mullion does not restrict the view. The barrier-free threshold recessed into the floor blurs the visual boundary between inside and outside and increases everyday operating comfort — ideal for the elderly, children and people with reduced mobility. Available in three thermal variants (ST, SI and SI+); with Uw values from 0.60 W/(m²K), the system is suitable for energy-efficient projects. The slender mullion and the absence of cover strips on the vertical outer frames are aesthetic as well as practical solutions; integration with the MB-79N, MB-86N and MB-104 Passive window systems ensures colour and style consistency within a project. For fabricators, straight-cut profiles, simplified drainage, a screw-fixed outer frame and glazing from outside facilitate production and installation; the compensation profile compensates for ceiling deflections. With an optional automatic drive, it fits into the smart home concept; EPD declaration, Cradle-to-Cradle inspiration and conformity with BREEAM, DGNB, HQE, LEED and WELL. On request, fabrication from low-emission aluminium with an embedded carbon footprint of 3.3 kg CO₂e/kg.
