The Schüco LivIngSlide (LivIng Slide 194) is a highly thermally insulated PVC lift-and-slide system based on the Schüco LivIng 82 window platform. The system's key innovation is the weldable EPDM gaskets adopted from the window series: they are inserted into the sash profile at the factory and remain flexible in the inner corners after welding, achieving a level of air tightness and watertightness that conventional PVC sliding systems can hardly reach. The shallow frame installation depth of just 194 mm allows use in both new builds and renovation; since the 82 mm sash depth corresponds to the LivIng platform, a wide range of accessory and glazing bead profiles can be used, enabling simple and flexible planning. The thermally broken threshold and aluminium reinforcement profiles ensure excellent thermal insulation and a uniform isothermal course; the particularly flat threshold allows comfortable passage. Optional panoramic glazing of the fixed panel, together with the slim central interlock of the profiles, offers maximum light and unobstructed views. The system is available as a complete system with fixed and movable sashes in single- or double-track versions. Lift-and-slide hardware and handles come from Schüco from a single source; the Schüco colour concept with TopAlu and UnlimitedFinish offers a wide choice of colours and foils. With suitable glazing, the Uw value drops to as low as 0.80 W/(m²K), sound insulation reaches up to 45 dB and burglar resistance up to class RC2.
