FWS 50

Schüco FWS 50 (Façade Wall System) is a high-performance mullion-transom facade with a 50 mm face width and impresses as a basic system for a wide variety of solutions. It offers high flexibility and attractive design options for facades and skylights — including optimised fabrication and installation processes; thanks to the extensive system programme, solutions can be realised for the most diverse requirements and applications. The transparent, profile-integrated fall protection blends seamlessly into the external facade appearance; storey-height opening units and the required fall protection at low parapet heights can be executed with the same face width and a continuous profile transition. A wide selection of glazing beads and stainless steel facade cappings, as well as combination with Schüco window, door and sliding systems, provide design freedom. System-optimised components enable the simple and safe integration of electrical components, for example for automatic Schüco doors or sun shading systems. In terms of ecological sustainability, the FWS 50.SI (Super Insulated) system option was awarded the silver "Cradle to Cradle Certified™" sustainability label by the independent C2CPII institute in cooperation with EPEA in Hamburg for its recyclability and low pollutant content.
